West Wall

W wall: width 2.90 m, max. preserved height 4.30 m. The lower part of the wall is hidden behind the bench of the hearth. The wall consists of the same kind of opus incertum as the south wall and seems to be linked with it. The wall is in large areas covered by modern concrete, at some places in different layers, indicating that it has been repaired several times after the excavation.
