West Wall

W wall: width 3.50 m, max. preserved height 3.80 m. The entire wall is made of a mixed opus incertum, containing lava, Sarno stone, cruma and yellow tuff, slightly larger than in the south wall (0.15 x 0.10 m - 0.30 x 0.15 m). Since the entire wall is covered by modern concrete, the colour and type of the mortar could not be observed well, though it seems to be of a greyish type.
