Floor

Description

Thomas Staub

The floor is made of a lavapesta bedding, covered with a lime-cement floor into which mainly pieces of lava, but also pieces of coloured limestones and some pieces of coloured marble, are inserted. It is the same, which is found in atrium4. It runs through the fauces3 and continues through the door into this room. The floor does not abut against the threshold at the side entrance of the house. Where preserved, the floor goes under the plaster.
