Cistern

A cistern is located in the corner created by the W wall and the S edge of the W bench. The opening of the cistern was made of lava and the rim shows it was fitted with a lid. Some of the water from the basin emptied into the cistern. The cistern is located partly under the W bench showing that it belongs to an earlier phase than the bench and the aqueduct water. The cistern was filled by debris and was not emptied.
