Room h
Description
Thomas Staub
This narrow corridor (0.73 m) leads from the courtyard or central room b towards room g with another dooropening on its west towards room c. The walls are mainly constructed of a mixed opus incertum, in the west wall alternating with brick piers for the door frames. No remains of decorations or a pavement hve been observed. Its existance could be explained by the wish to seclude room g, else it seems more like a waste of space since room d has no private character and thus both room c and g could have opened directly on that room instead.
