Description

Alah is a rectangular space open to the atrium in the north. The northwest corner is made of large Sarno limestone blocks, while the walls are made in opus incertum. The west wall is heavily reconstructed.
There is a niche in the east wall, where the ala opens up into the atrium,possibly a closed door to tricliniumu in the east.
There are remains of wall paintings in the Third style on the south wall. In the upper zone faint traces of an architectural view can be discerned.
There is a white mosaic floor which has a black and white kantharos border defining the limits between the alaand the atrium.
