Floor

Description

Henrik Boman & Monica Nilsson

The lavapesta floor of room a continues into room b, where it is better preserved. Round depressions in the corners indicate imprints from heavy objects and in the SE corner are four small symmetrical cavities, probably originating from an installation.

The door opening to room d has a stone slab functioning as threshold, but its authenticity has been questioned. The top of the slab is as much as 0.43 m above floor level, but corresponds to the floor level of the neighbouring room.
