South Wall

The south wall of room a is built in opus incertum with limestone, lava and cruma stones. The western end, which constitutes the southern doorframe of door No. 21, has boulders and stretchers of limestone. At the transition between room a and corridor c, the modern, reconstructed wall begins at only 0.1 m above the floor.
