Room q (corridor)
Description
Thomas Staub
The narrow corridor q connects the peristyle i with the kittchen area and the rear entrance at V 1,11. Towards the east two doorways open up, one to room r and the other to room s, both probably related to some household activity. An earlier doorway also connected exedray with this corridor, but it was walled up at a later stage. This corridor is like all the rooms to the north of the peristyle part of the extentional rebuildings or new constructions, which probably took part around the middle of the 1. Century b.C.
