Attached to the east wall are the remains of what has been identified as a working table, but could be a modern structure simulating a support for the table Mau described in the room. The lava stones are cut in a similar way to some of the stones used in the preserved oven, and the table was presumably built in connection with the house being converted into a bakery.
The whole installation was removed in the restoration works of 2009.
