Window in N wall
Between the orthostat structures (A and B) there are remains of what could be interpreted as the window seen by Mau to the east of the staircase (Mau 1877, 138). The frame and sill are heavily weathered today, and the exact measurements of the window cannot be established. It ought to have been narrow finestra strombata, presumably less than 0.40m in width.
The lower part, the window sill, has multiple layers of plaster, all heavily worn and difficult to interpret. Several spoils are found around the window and it is possible that the window has been remodelled (made narrower) or closed in later phases.
