Room 6

Description

Henrik Boman

The room is entered from the area behind the counter in room 1. There is an internal window to room 7.

No visible traces of floor, or floor level, where found in the room in 2011. Along the N wall the earth is very soft, and the contained almost nothing except for two fragmented glass vessels. By the W wall, the remains of an earlier wall with slightly different orientation than the now standing W wall, was found.

Major features in the rooms are a brick arc in the east wall, into V 1,2, an indication of a possible underground structure. Beam holes in the N wall signify an upper floor though no beam holes are visible in the opposite wall; neither are any traces of a staircase to the upper floor, or communication between the rooms on second floor level preserved.
